Washington is the State of Green and Blue

Washington State is a glorious visual feast of green and blue! The Hoh Rainforest in Olympic National Park is the greenest place we’ve ever seen. The long, bumpy and winding road into the Park is absolutely worth it. You may think the forest leading into the park is grand and then BOOM like magic everything grows 200ft and becomes moss covered. Our goodbye to the Hoh Rainforest was topped off with an Elk, we named George. He was quietly laying in the grass just a few feet from us munching on some forest snacks.

In contrast to the immense green we also relaxed in the calm of the blue. Late in the night just after passing the town of Humptulips we rolled in to the Sunrise Resorts – Copalis Beach RV Park. We were delighted in the morning to wake up to an ocean-front stroll just a few feet away. It was our first glimpse of the Pacific ocean on this adventure so we all took a little time to play and breath it in.

I like the one of Loretta at the gas pumps. But they’re all so good! Love to you out there!
